Welcome to the Bucspix website. This site was started for the convenience of The Benjamin School community. Hopefully this site will be user friendly. As in the past, profits will be used to benefit the Benjamin Athletic Department. So far this year the money has paid for football calendars, Athletic Department flag, customized presentation folders. posters and the pictures in the gym hallway. Since January 1, 2011 there have been over 398,977 page views from 43 different countries and 42 of the 50 States. Who knew that Benjamin had fans in Brazil, Poland, Algeria, Japan, Russia India, Vietnam, Sweden and many other countries around the world.

I am a former Benjamin dad. My daughter attended the school for 10 years. During that time I began to take pictures of the Middle and Upper school athletes. In this endeavor I became familiar with the sports program and the many coaches at the school. It was, and continues to be, a pleasure for me to photograph the kids in action. However, the real joy lies in watching caring coaches not only teach, but mentor enthusiastic kids. The value of the program lies not in what occurs on the playing fields but in the personal growth of the players. Won/loss records are a very poor indicator of the successes that are achieved everyday by the teams.

I'd like to thank the school for giving me the access necessary to take these pictures. I trust every parent will find at least one picture of their child that they enjoy. High School is a fleeting time and for many it will be the end of their formal athletic career. It is my hope that in decades to come today's Benjamin student/athletes will pull out one of my pictures to show their kids and grandkids.

Thank you for the kind words. Taking the pictures has allowed me access to the players and Benjamin Sports program in a unique manner. I see what goes on in practices and game time outs. I really wish every parent had the same opportunity. I have had limited exposure to other High School Athletic Departments in the area and they pale in comparison. The quality of the Benjamin coaches as people is without equal. The kids are fortunate indeed. As I have said before, my time is well spent if only one athlete uses a picture to show their kid how it was done back in the day. Cheers, Neil
